The 400Y-11 is well suited for installation directly before\u00a0high capacity water\/foam monitors as a type approved\u00a0quick opening water control valve. The standard trim features the release valve\u00a0positioned locally on the valve, optionally the release\u00a0valve can be \u00a0positioned remotely, enabling valve\u00a0operation from a distance.
