The 42T-20 is used for controlling the flow and\u00a0pressure at the pump discharge, performing also\u00a0as a non return check valve. The 42T-20 prevents pump startup surge, typically\u00a0caused by the accelerated water flow during the\u00a0fire pump starts. The valve also helps to prevent pump start\u00a0negative suction pressure, preventing pump\u00a0cavitation damage. Due to exceptional reliability, safe actuation and\u00a0low head loss, the 42T-20 is highly suited for fire\u00a0pump discharge pressure control applications.
