Sprinkler Pressure Relief Valve / Pilot Line Relief Valve FP-3PB-0

The BERMAD model FP-3PB-0 is a direct acting, spring loaded, diaphragm type pilot relief valve. The single port is held closed buy the force of the adjustable spring located  above the pressure sensing diaphragm. When the force of the pressure sensed under the diaphragm exceeds the force of the spring the valve will open to relieve pressure and will close tight when pressure falls below the pre-set value. This UL Listed and FM Approved valve is well suited for use in protecting wet pipe Systems, pilot lines and  Fusible sprinkler lines from overpressure occurring from temperature fluctuations, pump start up spikes and other.

PORV FP-3HC-0 Direct Acting Pressure Relief Valve/ Fire Pump Casing Relief Valve

The BERMAD PORV FP- 3HC-0 is a direct acting, spring loaded, diaphragm type, pressure operated relief valve. The single port is held closed buy the force of the adjustable spring located above the pressure sensing diaphragm. When the force of the pressure sensed under the diaphragm exceeds the force of the spring the valve will open to relieve pressure and will close tight when pressure falls below the pre-set value. This FM approved and UL listed valve is well suited for use in protecting wet pipe systems from overpressure that occurs from temperature fluctuations and for fire pump casing relief as required by the NFPA 20 and NFPA 13 standards.

ACD – Anti-Cavitation Diffuser Device

The Anti Cavitation Diffuser (ACD) is a device designed to prevent cavitation damage at source, also reducing noise levels and vibration.

This device replaces traditional anti-cavitation trims, and will prevent flashing and cavitation pitting of valves and piping operating at high pressure differentials.

The ACD should be installed at the outlet, downstream of Pressure control or Pressure Relief valves thereby controlling the pipe velocity profile and the pressure characteristic across the control valve seat.

The ACD will eliminate and silence cavitation, minimizing erosion damage and will significantly extend operating life and minimize downtime in applications working in severe service conditions.

Accelerator with priming restriction

As part of the control trim, this venturi action accelerator speeds up the release of the main valve control chamber enabling faster full opening of the deluge valve. Water exits the accelerator faster than it can be supplied, through the restriction to the valve control chamber, accelerating the opening of the main valve

2-Way Modulating Horizontal Float Model #60

This 2-way, modulating horizontal float, is actuated by a float either pulling the float pilot arm down, when level drops, or floating it up when level rises.
The float pilot throttles closed as level rises towards set-point, eventually closing drip-tight.

Swing Check Valve (SC)

This Swing Check Valve is intended for installation in Preaction systems using supervisory pressure as low as 1 psi.
The Swing Check Valve provides compact, lightweight design for easy and comfortable installation. Its hydraulically
streamlined body design and spring loaded elastomer faced clapper, present a very low friction loss, non-slam closing characteristics and leak free sealing.

Spring Loaded Check Valves (SLC)

These spring loaded, non-return valves (slc’s) provide free flow in one direction, while preventing flow in the opposite direction and can be installed in any orientation.

Large Control Filter

The Large Control Filter is used for filtration of dirty control fluid that would quickly block a smaller filter element. This larger filter increases the reliability of the control valve system and time between maintenance, while minimizing faulty operation. Large Control Filter types:

  • Type F: Standard
  • Type Super F: Double size filter element

Ball Valves

These ball valves are 2-way floating ball type. They Provide quick, reliable and easy on/off control for manual release, isolating valves and drains.

Manual Emergency Release Model D

Manual Emergency Release is a normally closed release device, used for manually opening a deluge valve. It is connected to BERMAD Classic deluge, Pre-action or Dry pipe valves standard control trim and can also be mounted on the wet or dry pilot line, as a remote manual operated station. The Manual Emergency Release stainless steel 316 assembly version (Model DN) is suited for corrosion resistent requirements. UL Listed for Special Fire Protection Systems(1).

Model: CSCD

The BERMAD Closing Speed Control Device (CSCD) is a valve control accessory used to adjust the closing speed of BERMAD valves.

The CSCD controls the Main Valve Closing Speed by enabling the adjustment and setting of the water flow rate
that is introduced to the BERMAD valve’s control chamber upon a closing command.

This allows the operator to either decrease or increase the closing speed of the BERMAD main valve.

Manual Emergency Release Model B

Manual Emergency Release is a normally closed release device, used for manually opening a deluge valve. It is connected to the BERMAD on-off deluge valves standard control trim and can also be mounted on the wet or dry pilot line for additional manual remote operation. UL Listed for Special Fire Protection Systems.
