FP 400E-3D-RL

The BERMAD FP 400E-3D-RL Deluge Valve is suitable for use with remote controlled or/and automatic water spray or foam deluge systems that include electric detection and piping systems with open nozzles.
This BERMAD Deluge Valve is equipped with two solenoid valves and Double-Acting Relay Valve (DRV) which trips
the deluge valve into an open position during the Opening solenoid activation. The valve will then latch in its last position. The 400E-3D-RL will reset remotely via short pulse to activate the Closing solenoid coil.

FP 400E-3D

BERMAD 400E-3D Deluge Valve operates by an electric 3-Way Solenoid Valve, which actuates a Hydraulic Relay Pilot Valve and requires a listed System Control Panel with a compatible electric detection System. The specific-trim for 400E-3D Deluge Valve includes a Hydraulic Relay Pilot Valve (HRV). The HRV is normally held closed by the actuating pressure  maintained in the Hydraulic Supply System, and a Manual Emergency Release. In fire conditions, the fire activates the Detection System. The system’s control panel reacts and opens the Solenoid valve, releasing pressure from the HRV and causing it to open. The open HRV releases the pressure from the upper chamber, allowing the Deluge Valve to open. Water enters the system piping and flows from any open sprinklers an/or spray nozzles. Deluge Systems are commonly used where it is desirable to simultaneously spray water from all open sprinklers and/or nozzles while the system is operating.

 

FP 400E-6D

BERMAD 400E-6D Electro-Pneumatically Controlled Deluge operates by an electric Solenoid Valve, which actuates a Normally Held Closed PORV (6B fig.1) and requires a listed System Control Panel with a compatible electric detection system. The specific-trim for Deluge Valve 6D includes a PORV, normally held closed by pressure maintained in the pneumatic supply system and closed Manual Emergency Release. In Fire condition, either in response to opening the pneumatic release, or when detection system causes the System Control Panel to be activated, the Solenoid Valve is activated, this in turn opens the PORV releasing water pressure from the control-chamber causing the Bermad Deluge Valve to open, and thereby allowing water to enter the system piping. Water will flow from any open sprinklers and/or spray nozzles on the system. Deluge systems are commonly used where, when the system operates, it is desirable to simultaneously spray water from all open sprinklers and/or nozzles on the system.

 

FP 400E-4D

The Bermad FP400E-4D Pneumatically controlled Deluge valve requires a pneumatic release system, equipped with thermostatic releases, and/or fixed temperature releases and pneumatic pressure supply system. The Type 4 trim may also use a hydraulic release system with thermostatic releases and/or fixed temperature releases.

 

FP 400E-5D

The BERMAD FP400E-5D Hydraulically Controlled Deluge valve with 5D trim is actuated by an HRV – Hydraulic Relay Valve, which permits local release of top chamber pressure (instead of the usual remote top chamber release by the hydraulic release system), in order to ensure quick opening even when the release device is distant. The Deluge Valve requires a wet pilot line system including hydraulic releases.

 

FP 400Y-3D

The BERMAD model 400Y-3D is an elastomeric, hydraulic line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems, and the latest industry standards. The 400Y-3D is activated by a 3-way solenoid valve. Opening and closing of the valve can be controlled remotely. The valve’s position monitoring device features a visual position indicator that can interface with any fire & gas control system. The 400Y-3D is suitable for systems with open nozzles for water or foam discharge. Available with electric components to suit any hazardous location.

 

FP 400Y-4D

The BERMAD model 400Y-4D is an elastomeric, hydraulic line operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards. The 400Y-4D is activated by a pneumatic relay valve, opening and closing of the valve can be controlled remotely. It is suited for use with corrosive fluids and in freezing temperatures. The valve’s position monitoring device features a visual position indicator that can interface with any fire & gas control system.

FP 400Y-5D

The BERMAD Model 400Y-5D is an elastomeric, hydraulic line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards. The 400Y-5D is activated by a hydraulic relay valve, by which opening and closing of the valve can be controlled remotely. The 400Y-5D is suited to systems with remote or elevated wet pilot lines. The valve’s position monitoring device features a visual position indicator and can interface with any fire & gas control system.

 

 

FP 400Y-6D

The BERMAD Model 400Y-6D is an elastomeric, hydraulic line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards. The 400Y-6D is activated by a 3-Way solenoid valve which in turn activates a pneumatic relay valve. It can also be activated by a pressure decrease in the pneumatic pilot line. Opening or closing of the valve can be performed remotely. The 400Y-6D is ideal for open-nozzle systems and is available with electrical components to suit any hazardous location.
